Questions? Good. Here are the honest answers.

If you're wondering whether Net Positive Marketing is the right fit, this is a good place to start. If your question isn't here, send me a message and I'll answer it directly.

  • I work with faith-driven entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, and purpose-led creatives who are building something meaningful and need an online presence that reflects the depth of what they do.

In practice, that means coaches, doulas, speakers, teachers, pastors, nonprofit workers, women's ministry leaders, and faith-based business owners. What they all have in common is that they're doing genuinely good work — and they need a website that helps the right people find it.

  • You don't have to share my faith to work with me — but I want to be honest about who I am. My faith shapes how I work, what I'm willing to build, and the standard I hold myself to. It's not a niche or a marketing angle. It's genuinely central to everything.

If you're values-led and purposeful about what you're building, we'll probably be a great fit regardless of your specific beliefs. If the faith element feels like too much, that's okay too. I'd rather you find someone who's the right fit than push through a mismatch.

  • Yes — all of my work is done remotely and I serve clients across the US. Everything happens online: the intake questionnaire, copy drafts, design reviews, and our handoff call. I'm based in Nappanee, Indiana, but where you are has never gotten in the way of doing good work together.

The “Net Positive” Website

  • Every website project includes the full build — design, copy, and SEO together. Specifically:

    • Full Squarespace site build — up to 6 pages

    • SEO copywriting for every page (I write it, based on your intake)

    • Keyword research specific to your niche and audience

    • On-page SEO — titles, meta descriptions, headers, image alt text

    • Google Search Console and Google Analytics setup

    • Mobile optimization and speed review

    • One round of revisions

    • 30-minute handoff training call

    • Written site guide so you can make updates confidently

    • 6-month keyword strategy and content roadmap

I handle everything. You don't need to bring copy, design ideas, or technical knowledge. You just need to show up for your feedback windows and trust the process.

  • That's not a problem — it's actually the norm. Most of my clients come to me without a single word written for their site, and that's completely fine. Writing the copy is part of what I do. I write every word on your site based on what you share in your brand intake questionnaire. You tell me about your business, your story, your audience, and your voice — I turn that into copy that sounds like you and is built for search. You don't need to be a writer. You just need to show up and tell me about yourself.

  • Mostly your time, your stories, and your timely feedback. Here's what the project asks of you:

    • A completed brand intake questionnaire before we begin — about 30 to 40 minutes, answered honestly

    • Feedback on copy drafts within 48 hours — this is what keeps the project on schedule

    • Approval of your visual direction at the end of Week 1 — I'll send you three style options to choose from

That's honestly it. I handle the design, the words, and the technical setup. You don't need design opinions, technical knowledge, or writing skills. You just need to show up for your feedback windows.

  • I build exclusively on Squarespace — and it's a deliberate choice.

Squarespace is intuitive enough for non-technical people to manage after launch. Once your site is built and I've walked you through it on our handoff call, you'll be able to update your services, publish a blog post, or swap a photo without needing a developer. That independence matters to me.

It's also excellent for SEO when set up correctly — which is exactly what I do. I'm a Squarespace Circle member, which means I've been vetted as a professional who builds on the platform regularly and builds it well.

If you're currently on a different platform and wondering whether to switch — that's a good conversation to have on a discovery call.

  • Absolutely. Squarespace is built to grow with you — once you've been through the handoff training, you can add pages, update your services, and publish blog posts on your own without needing help.

If you want to add something more significant later — an online course, a shop, a podcast page, a membership area — those are larger projects. Reach out when you're ready and we can talk about whether a new project makes sense and what it would involve.

Pricing and Process

  • The Net Positive Website is regularly priced at $5,000, but deals occur occasionally. The Clarity Call is $175. The SEO Audit starts at $500.

Full pricing details, including what's included in each offer, are on the Work With Me page.

I don't offer ongoing monthly retainers. Every project is a clean engagement with a clear start date, a defined scope, and a launch day. After that, the site is yours to manage.

  • Yes — every website project is split into two payments. A 50% deposit is due when you book your start date, and the remaining 50% is due at launch.

I don't offer further payment splits beyond those two, but I've found that the structure works well for most people. If timing is a genuine concern, it's always worth raising on the discovery call.

  • You leave with everything you need to run your site confidently on your own.

At our handoff call I walk you through the Squarespace editor — how to update your services, publish a blog post, swap a photo. I also send a written site guide you can refer back to any time.

You'll also receive your 6-month keyword strategy and content roadmap — a clear plan for what to publish over the coming months to keep your site gaining visibility in search.

I don't offer ongoing maintenance retainers. This is intentional. I want you to feel capable and empowered managing your own online presence, not dependent on someone else for every small update. That said, if you have questions in the weeks after launch you're always welcome to reach out.

SEO and Technical

  • SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. In plain terms, it's the practice of making your website show up in Google when someone searches for what you offer.

If someone in your city types "faith-based life coach" or "doula near me" or "Squarespace web designer for nonprofits" — SEO determines whether your site appears or doesn't. Most people don't look past the first page of results, so where you rank matters.

Good SEO isn't a trick or a shortcut. It's making sure your site is structured clearly, uses the words your audience is actually searching, and gives Google enough context to understand what you do and who you serve. Every site I build has SEO built in from the first word — not added on at the end.

  • No — and I want to be clear about that upfront. My fee covers the design, copywriting, and SEO setup. Your Squarespace subscription is a separate cost paid directly to Squarespace.

Squarespace plans currently start around $16 per month. I'll walk you through which plan makes sense for your site during our project.

Keeping your software subscriptions in your own name means you own everything fully — there are no hidden fees, and you're free to make changes to your plan without going through me.

  • Yes, selectively. I use AI tools to help with research, keyword analysis, and early drafting — but every word that goes on your site is reviewed, revised, and approved by me before it touches your page. Nothing goes out that I haven't read carefully and shaped to sound like you.

The copy on your site reflects your voice and your story. AI can help me work more efficiently, but it can't replace the intake questionnaire, the careful listening, or the judgment about what your specific audience needs to hear. That part is always mine.
